We have decided to homeschool again this year. While it’s been tricky at times to get everything in and see the sights, we’ve made it work thus far. We are using the My Father’s World curriculum and so we are learning about the countries and cultures around the world.
One of the first fun things we got to do was make a world cake.
While I made the cake, they got to frost it and make the continents.
One of the difficulties living in a camper while homeschooling is that sometimes it’s near impossible to get what you need when you need it.
So, you improvise.
We used yellow frosting instead of blue for the oceans & resese pieces and sprinkles instead of green frosting for the continents.
E-man is in an anti-smile phaze when it comes to smiling for pictures…
At least he enjoyed the cake… despite the frown he’s wearing.
(And they enjoyed the outcome of so much food coloring in the cake and frosting… We learned that food coloring can affect our… umm… excretions… It made going to the bathroom fun for the kids for a good week.)
May God bless your socks off as He has ours!
