Corn Palace – Mitchel, SD

On our way to the Badland area of South Dakota, we stopped at the Corn Palace.  2015-06-14 13.45.16

I have never been here before.

The artist in me was intrigued, to say the least.

To make some really neat pictures.

The inside of the building is used for a variety of things.  One of which is a museum of sorts.  It’s free to the public, so we went ahead and went in.  Here we learned that there are or were several Corn Palaces around the country.  It was interesting, but the outside of the building was what made it worth it.

There was also a tractor that the kids had to go up and pretend to drive.  I was trying to get a good picture of E-Man who absolutely loved the tractor, but it’s Superman, hamming it up in the background, that kept stealing the show.

May God bless your socks off!
