Ok. So, I may be a little premature.
But, I wanted to start our “Wild, Crazy Adventure” off before we even leave anywhere.
Which we have.
But we haven’t.
About 2 months ago my brother (who is doing awesome since his wreck, by the way) and his wife decided to move their family to Florida.
So we had a decision to make.
Stay or move.
We chose to do both!
We upgraded our camper and moved into it.
That was a month ago.
Since then we’ve been to Amicalola Falls Campground.
Which has a story in to itself…
Amicalola Falls is on a mountain.
It’s also the name of a waterfall.
In order to get up to the campground, you need to drive up a road with a 25% grade.
Which is fun in a car.
Not so much with a camper attached.
We about burned the engine up.
As much as I liked it there, we won’t be back.
Only because of our camper being too heavy for our car to be able to do that again.
Otherwise, it’s absolutely gorgeous there!
Then we tried out Twin Lakes RV Park.
And officially became “live-aboards” as some people call it.
Why now you ask?
We actually used our bathtub!
I know, I know… but really, when you’re okay with taking a bath in something a little bigger than the kitchen sink, you can officially become a full time RVer…
Anyway, the park was ok, but wasn’t our favorite.
It was during our stay here that Handsome Hubby took Princess to the Father/Daughter dance.
Princess was so excited to go! Not only to go with Handsome Hubby, but that she got to have her picture taken with her teacher! I’m so glad she loves her teacher as the year got off to a rocky start, mostly because she wasn’t used to public school. I’ve learned a lot from her teacher to be able to teach her better this next year. So thanks, Mr. Jordan!
In between this campground and the next, we went to Florida, but I’ll save that for another post. 🙂
Now, we’re at Bolding Mill Campground and so far, I think it’s our favorite! I like that it has some secluded like spots which is what I liked about Amicalola Falls.
The down side is that it’s been raining almost nonstop since we’ve been here.
But we’ll be here a while yet.
May God bless your socks off as he has ours!
