Review of 2012 (Part 2)

As I started my review of 2012, I had all kinds of plans (like getting this out a few weeks after the first). For example, I was going to limit one picture per month. Ha! I have no idea what I was thinking? ONLY 1 picture per month? Ok, so some months, I could do that. Some months, I lost my camera. (Gotta make a home for it!) But most months? Riiiiight… So!  In case you missed it, you can find Part one here. Back to the review!  (Better late than never, right?)

July:

We celebrated our independence with Sparklers (after the, “You have to be very careful with these or you’ll get burned” warning)…

And watching the fireworks from afar.  From our bedroom window we can see 2 sets of fireworks.  It may not be up close and personal, but it works for us.  (No, there’s not a picture of E-Man`q2 because he was safely tucked away in bed.  We didn’t really want to try a 2 year old with Sparklers.)

August:

We took time out this month to play with our cousins from Des Moines.  This is all the kids.  Loved this park!

September:

Handsome Hubby and I had a getaway this month!

My best friend from high school got married!  And was absolutely GORGEOUS!  (Love you Angie!)

And it was C.J.’s 5th birthday!  For his birthday dessert, he chose cinnamon roll breadsticks and…

Angry Bird pizza!  Cool, huh?

Then we went out and got him his birthday gift.  When the kids turn 5, they get to pick out their bike helmets.  We have a baby (1yr-3yr) helmet & a toddler/preschooler (3yr-5yr) helmet.  So they have those until then.

This is what C.J. picked out.  Pretty cool, huh?  Definitely C.J.’s personality.

October:

We celebrated our 10th Anniversary this year!

Just because

November:

C.J. really got into building things this month.  He used just about anything he could get his hands on, dominos, jenga blocks, and of course, legos.

Handsome Hubby decided to get creative with his favorite fruit.

Finally, in December we:

got all dressed up,

ate healthy,

worked out,

and enjoyed the balmy winter weather.
